The step
of how to send Gerber file into cutter
Step one:
Open the main windows
of Gerber. Click the third round
button, then select
“parameter list for marking” (as
follow picture, ①)
Step two:
After you click ①, the below picture will come out,
now establish one new file (as picture B).
For example, establish one new
parameter list: JINGWEI parameter list, then we need do two thing:
1. Firstly, adjust the scale
as 101.6% (see ① in the B
picture)
2. Second, adjust the “sideline
tools” as “knife” (see ②
in the B picture)
after that, please save this
setting.
Step three:
Open the ② in the picture A, Then the plot
marking windows will come out.(see picture C), Now open “plot option”
(see ① in the picture C), you will find
plot option’s windows, now we need adjust :
1. Set “file type” as HPGL.
2. Select “DOS FILE”
3. We need to set “priority DOS
directory” and “priority save picture directory”, for example, we set it as
“D:\JINGWEI”
4. In the “priority picture type” ,
please input “plt”.
5. At last click “ok”
Step four:
After setting as above step, re-open
“plot marking”, and do as follow step:
1. Set “plot directory” as “DOS
file”(see ① in the
picture D)
2. Set “priority plot parameter
list” and “plot parameter” as the parameter list that we set at the step two.
3. Then select the pattern’s name in
the plot name, press green arrowhead , then the file will be saved to
“D:\jingwei” (that we set at step three- 3).
Step five:
At last step, open JWCC, then open PLT
file and output the file to cutter.
